The structure of « local image » in the Tokyo ward area and surrounding districts

The purpose of this paper is to attempt to clarify the structure of local image as people consciously perspective it, with a target area of localities in the Tokyo Ward area and its surrounding districts, on the basis of images that people have of localities and of the attributes peculiar to these localities. The A. concluses that 8 different types of local image were recognized in people's consciousness. - (KA)
