Description :
The results are given of experimental investigation of sedimentation of solid phases of Cu, Zn, Pb from sea water as well as the results of thermodynamic calculations of forms of occurrence of these elements and of solubility of their minerals in sea water. It is shown that sea water is greatly undersaturated by these elements and that homogenious formation of independent solid phases Cu, Zn, Pb can occur when the utual concentrations of these metals in sea water are exceeded 102-104-fold. - (L'A.).
