The comparison between the map of recent vertical movements and the neotectonic blocks as well as the earthquake epicentres results that both the Danubian and Tisa blocks display the most intensive differentiated movements up to − 4 mm per year. The positive morphostructures are marked for uplifts up to + 1 mm per year. - (MS)
