Description :
The relative share of the women in child-bearing age in Bulgaria and in the area investigated is falling down. Only in Sofia and the adjacent settlements as well as in some bigger towns, the reproductive capacity of women is higher due to better socio-economic factors. The dynamics of natural increase and net migration are still dominant among these factors, but there is a new trend attributed to seeking indisturbed environmental conditions. - (MB)
