Description :
Warsaw suburban agricultural zone specialised in intensive production of vegetables, fruits and flowers is best developed if referred to all Polish big cities. At the some time it is characterised by higher than average development of non-rural activities. Agricultural labour force in the whole former Warsaw voivodship formed only 4,1 % of total employed. Positive elements in transformations of rural areas in the vicinity of Warsaw are : the new methods of production in horticulture and the development of different elements of infrastructure in rural areas. - (BJ)
