Temperature variation in Guangdong Province, China

Auteur :
YAN YUK YEE,

Description :
Temperature variation in Guangdong Province of China between 1956 and 1990 was investigated. Simple linear trend analysis was used to examine the temporal trend and the climatic departure index (CDI) was employed to study the regional variability. Warming trends in maximum, minimum and average temperatures were discovered for both winter and summer. The results indicate that urbanization and industrialization might influence the average temperature trends. The CDI analysis shows that temperatures had not become more variable.
