The Tibetan Plateau is the biggest lake distributed area in China, in which fluctuation of lake levels is one of the important indicators to the variations of aridity and humidity. It is one of the hot issues in the study of paleo-climate and paleo-environment due to its special significance in Tibetan regional environmental changes.
