The paper presents results of investigation on water circulation and wash down on carpathian flysch slopes used for farming purposes, carried in 1980-1990 years, on experimental plots. Natural conditions and spatial organization together with type of land-use influenced on this processes. The greatest values of overland flow (15 % of mean precipitation) and soil erosion (34 tons ha) were observed on fields with low plant density. The significant role in the total outflow of the water from the slopes, plays subsurface runoff (above 6 % of precipitation), which in winter season is greater than the overland flow. - (L'A.).
