Description :
The AA. study the late glacial - early holocene development of landscape and settlement in West-Pomerania, a region characterized by basins and weak profiled moranic areas. Due to site, focus is at substrate- and soil-genesis and their transformations, and at Late Glacial settlement-history of the Alleröd and Dryas III. Three new C 14 ages (of mud and peat) and an AMS C 14 age of an antler of deer with traces of anthropogenic use stress that peat growth occurred in wet depressions during the Early and Middle Alleröd.
