In this study the possibilities of development of health resorts, both places and areas are discussed those including favourable bioclimatic conditions, offering mineral waters and organic matters deposits. The attached map 1 presents bioclimatic regions of Poland. Map 2 indicates actual health resorts. The attention is drawn to the fact that 12 voivodships offer no recreational-curative localities. - (DG)
