The AA. will discern the differences between ecological regionalization and physiogeographical division or regionalization of single geographical variable. They illustrate the dependence of eco-regionalization on theoretical basis, discuss the methods and tools employed in eco-regionalization process, and finally give a new eco-regionalization system of China.
