Geomorphic effect of surface runoff in the Myjava Hills, Slovakia

Geomorphology and changing environments in Central Europe

Description :
Natural conditions and land use make the Myjava Hills particularly liable to geomorphic processes induced by surface runoff. The investigation of geomorphic effects focused on a detailed mapping of the spatial distribution of rills and soil loss related to topography as well as to the type of cultivation since the beginnings of collectivization.
