The impacts of global change on desertification in China

Description :
Based on meteorological data obtained from more than 700 meteorological stations in 30 years running in China, the A. made statistical analysis of China's arid area by applying Thornwaite's formula. The development of desertification will be a feedback to the global change. It is concluded that desertification is the most serious environmental problem in the world and its resulting impact is socially and economically surprising.
