Description :
This paper examines the pattern of discharge and sediment concentration along a 1052 km reach of the Murrumbidgee River during two major flood events, and compare the observed pattern with that of Heidel (1956). Floods on the river are concentrated in winter and spring. The impact of regulation on flood events varies according to their magnitude.
