Description :
Model simulations and paleoclimatic data studies show an evident change in temperature and precipitation over China will occur under conditions of the global warming. Possible scenarios of the future climates are given here for China on the basis of synthesizing model simulations and paleoclimatic data. Most parts of China will experience an increase in temperature, but the warming may be more remarkable in winter in the northern half of the country. Some regions will benefit from the climate change, but the tourism industry as a whole will be negatively affected.
