This thesis contains the results of an investigation of three adjoining mass movements in the Widenbach catchment in northeastern Switzerland. The subject is the description, analysis and explanation of the kinematic development and behaviour of these mass movements within a time interval of several decades. Field and laboratory measurements as well as a study of existing documents and publications about the Widenbach catchment were performed by the author from 1989 to 1993. - (AGD)
