Czech agriculture in transition

The transition of Czech agriculture of 1990s systematic changes is defined. The following processes are analysed: 1/ Restitution - return of property to the original owners (or to their heirs), 2/ Transformation - property transfer from the cooperatives to private subjects, 3/ Privatisation - denationalisation and privatisation of the former state farms. A detailed case study of the privatization of Žihle State Fram (West Bohemia). - (MS)
