Description :
The activity of fluvial morphodynamic processes in gullies is investigated in order to get information on the actual erosion and denudation rates as well as on the genesis and development of gullies. For this purpose, four small research catchments were chosen in the wooded uplands of the Odenwald and the Taunus and equipped with gauging stations. The influence of different environmental catchment conditions on the geomorphodynamic processes is examined by means of a comparing analysis of the gained values.
