Description :
Monitoring of sediment transfer and reconstructions of palaeovegetation cover and palaeoclimate in the periglacial belt of the Central Alps have been the main aims of this study. These data allow the calibration of a model that estimates sediment output from this altitudinal belt as a function of climatic change. This opens up possibilities for the simulation of morphodynamic change, for instance, as a result of global warming.
