Description :
This paper reviews some of the most common problems in cave and karst parks. Evidence from research on karst parks and tourist caves shows a decline over time in the diversity biota and a general degradation of the park experience for more tourists. A determination of the limits of acceptable change may be a more useful guideline for evaluating cave development and visitor impacts.
