Desertification in China: status, trends, and strategies

Description :
In China the desertified land area has already reached 11.6 percent of China's total land area. In recent decades, reverse trends have occurred in regions under proper control, however, on the whole it has been expanding. This paper is supposed to evaluate the current control measures and practices of desertification, in light of the distribution characteristics and developmental trend of land desertification.
