The next collectionof papers on the evolution of Vistula and tributary valleys includes synthetic reviews on various reaches: Vistula near the junction with Raba (by P. Gębica), lower Dunajec (by T. Sokołowski), middle reach of Wisłoka (by L. Strakel), transversal gap of the Middle Vistula (by W. Pożaryski and T. Kalicki) and lower reaches of several tributaries of the Lower Vistula (by L. Andrzejewski). There are also detail sedimentological and palynological studies on two lateglacial paleomeanders in the upper Vistula valley (by T. Kalicki and V.P. Zernickaya) and lower Wisłoka (by L. Starkel and W. Ganoszewski). Two other papers by T. Kalicki and M. Krapiec from Wisłoka valley discuss the importance of endrochronological method for dating of alluvia and flood episodes. - (DG)
