Morphologic behaviour of a barred coast over a period of decades
Auteur :WIJNBERG, K.M.
Description :
The general aim of this study is to increase the phenomenological knowledge of decadal behaviour of large coastal stretches and to get a qualitative insight in the governing process-response relations. The morphologic behaviour of the Holland coast was analysed from annual bathymetric surveys over the period 1963-1990. The effect of human interference is also considered. Finally, some of the observed decadal behaviour is explained in terms of possibly involved physical mechanismes. - (AGD)
