A climatological study on solar ultrviolet radiation

According to 2698 sets of observation data on solar direct radiation in sub-divisions of wave band at 10 spots of seven regions in China, the empirical formula and nomograph for estimating ultraviolet irradiance at wavelength λ < 400 nm were obtained. Furthermore, a climatological method for estimating diffuse ultraviolet irradiance under various sky conditions was also developed based on radiation transmission equations.
