A high-Andean toposequence: the geoecology of coalescent paramo rosettes

This study conducted above 3700 m at Piedras Blancas in the northwestern Venezuelan Andes examined variation of soils and the micro-distribution of two paramo species of plants. Results indicated that the greatest geo-ecological impact on rosette distribution was soil texture and organic-matter content. - (DWG)
