The paper presents principles of man-environment heat exchange outdoor which influence human health and well being. The MENEX model was applied for the estimation fo the human heat balance as well as heat load and thermal sensations of man in different meteorological situations. It was also used for forecasting of thermal conditions and for assessing thermal conditions of work. - (DG)
