The impact of rainfall frequency on coca (Erythroxylum coca) production in the Chapare region of Bolivia

Description :
Although increased rainfall favors the formation of coca leaves on the plant, actual production depends on dry periods of two to three days each to ensure a good harvest. Seasonal and yearly variation in coca production are based in part on this constraints. - (DWG)
