Relief features formed by the North European ice sheet are interpreted as a group of chronologically and functionally related landforms (glacial series). In addition to the interglacial/interstadial deposits already described by various authors, an Eemian/Early Weichselian pedocomplex was found as well as numerous late glacial terrestrial and lacustrine facies.
