Modelling surface runoff and soil erosion in catchments using Geographical Information Systems. Validity and applicability of the ANSWERS model in two catchments in the loess area of South Limburg (The Netherlands), and one in Devon (UK)

Auteur :
DE ROO, A.P.J.

Description :
Soil erosion and surface runoff are serious problems in the hill country of South-Limburg. In order to understand how to reduce the magnitude of this problem quantitative models of runoff and erosion were used to evaluate alternative strategies for improved land management. To test the models under different conditions, a study was started in the Yendacott catchment, north of the city of Exeter (UK). - (AGD)
