The north country Amish homeland

Amish in the USA often migrate seeking farm land for their descendants. In the 1970s two groups of Old Order Amish people started settlements in St.Lawrence County, New York near the Canadian border. This article reports on the changes that have occurred there in two decades. One community has flourished, the other has not. - (DWG)
