This report gives an overview of literature on conflict resolution techniques relevant to impact management, management structures and policy development and planning. These issues are analysed using case study material of two regions in the Netherlands, the Voordelta and the Oosterschelde both located in the province of Zeeland. At each stage of the analysis comparisons are made with experiences from the UK and the USA. - (AGD)
