Description :
Information on soil erosion and hydrological processes is essential for planning effective, appropriate soil conservation and water management measures. Sixteen microcatchments experiments were carried out under simulated rainfall to provide information on the hydrological and erosional response of rilled hillslopes at Baringo. Implications of test results for design of conservation measures, and particularly the importance of ground vegetation, are discussed.
