Geographical investigation is carried out in several dimensions sensu Neef, each of which requires certain different methodological approaches, aims and scale ranges. The transitions from one dimension to another are discontinuous and stepwise. We showed that our recently available nonphotographic aerial and space imagery are suited for investigations in the chorological and in the regional dimensions.―(l'A.).
