Glacial landform distribution in the area east of Mount Meylisueshan in Yunnan Province, China, and its implication to the mountain uplift during the Late Pleistocene and Holocene
Auteur :ANIYA, M.
Description :
From the distribution of the lateral and terminal moraines, indicating that even during the maximum glaciation the glaciers did not extend much longer than today, it was postulated that Mt. Meylixueshan then was not as high as today. The age of the oldest moraines was estimated to be about 50 000 yr B.P.
