Late glacial aeolian processes in the light of sediment analysis from Kamion profile near Wyszogród

Description :
Analysis of sediments from the Kamion locality in the Vistula valley near Wyszogród was carried out in order to gain more information about the fluvial and predominantly aeolian environments of sedimentation and weathering. Basing upon these investigations (analyses of abrasion and frosting of quartz grains, and analysis of heavy minerals) three parts of the profile were distinguished.
