Description :
SPOT satellite images from the dune fields reveal areas of poor vegetation and even areas without vegetation within a more or less non-influenced vegetation cover. Causes for the absence of vegetation are overgrazing and agriculture arranged in a circle around the villages. Damage is done to a varying extent. Potentially the less damaged areas may recover.
