Description :
In this paper the question of chronological and genetical relationship between the terrestrial erosion and accumulation processes caused by the late Pliocene uplift of the Vera basin and the Raña and glacis formations known from central Spain will be investigated. The degree of climatic and tectonic influence on the morphogenesis during the transitional period between the Pliocene and Pleistocene will be discussed.
