Description :
Conventional, genetic geomorphological mapping supplemented with morphometric data allows the application of these maps for the study of changes in geoecological pattern and land use. The example of the test area, delimited in the traditional wine-producing zone of the Tokaj hill shows that most abandoned vineyards are located on the slopes of interfluvial ridges and head-valleys steeper than 20o and above 300 m altitude.
