Description :
The present paper aims to elucidate a number of morphodynamic processes enhanced and sometimes triggered off by anthropogenic factors in the north eastern Rajasthan. The processes discussed in this paper are mainly those of soil erosion, salinization, reactivation of stabilized dunes and sandsheets and silting of river courses. The fluvial and aeolian agents become dynamically active once the protecting vegetation cover is partially or wholly removed, or changes in landuse are made. Such conditions have reaching for negative effects on the agroeco-potential of the region under study.
