A study of some features against the summer heat in Korean house form
Auteur :SASAKI, S.
Description :
Compared with the houses in the North and the Central sections of the Korean peninsula where people must cope with the severe winter, those in the South section and the Cheju Island have been thought to put stress on the open and ventilative structure such as wooden-floor rooms, raised-floor construction and large openings in the wall for hot summers there.
