This paper discusses the research results of a 12-year observation period (1980-1991) at the same test sites, for monitoring the geomorphological processes, selected in the nomadic pastoral areas of the Marsabit District. The results are used for a monitoring programme in connection with the Range Management Handbook of Kenya.
