Vertical distribution of human and animal populations in north-central Ethiopia
Auteur :MESFIN, W. M.
Description :
The great concentration of human population between 2 600-2 800 m above sea level in this part of Ethiopia suggests the availability of flat and ondulating topography at that altitude. Cattle are also found more at these elevations; lower altitudes have had droughts that have kept livestock numbers in check.―(DWG)
