Description :
A recent conceptual model, which refers to the seal layer in term of basic soil physics concepts (soil water retention and hydraulic conductivity-water content relationship), is applied to investigate the dynamic changes of the soil hydraulic properties within the zone of the seal layer. Results of laboratory experiments in two soils, Sharon sandy loam (Hamra) and Ruhama loam (loess), were applied for the calibration of the model.
