Three rockslides : Les Gorges de l'Arly (Savoie), Les Ruines de Séchilienne (Isère), La Clapière (Alpes Maritimes) are examined specially with regards to water infiltration related to structural discontinuities. The paper attempts to analyze the spatial and functional relationship between geomorphic orientations and the pattern of various discontinuities, as well as the principal axis of the neotectonic strain (derived from recent earthquakes).
