Description :
The objective of this study was to quantify the redistribution of soil by wind and cultivation. The artificial fall-out radionuclide caesium-137 was used as a tracer to estimate net soil redistribution. Two sites disturbed by cultivation, one since at least the 1940s and the other since 1979 were sampled in 1988 to estimate the influence of wind and cultivation practices.
