Policy-making without facts : a note on the assessment of structural adjustment policies in Nigeria 1975-1990
Auteur :MOSLEY, P.
Description :
Nigeria is facing an economic collapse but there are few facts available for the planners. There are uncertainties about the economy's current position and its response to past policies. The plea of W. Stolper's book, « Planning without facts », (1965), that « acquiring the necessary knowledge should have the highest priority » appears to have been completely ignored in Nigeria.―(EMS)
