Agricultural classifications. A review of methodology
Auteur :KOSTROWICKI, J.
Description :
Most of the mentioned classifications and especially those that cover large areas are based on the personal knowledge of their authors, who do not offer any criteria for their classification. In most of them solely cultural and technological characteristics of agriculture, such as land and/or crop rotation systems and agricultural implements, are used as basic criteria, representing however only one side of agriculture. The divisive approach dominates and no quantitative bases are offered in the classifications, except in those covering some more restricted areas.―(A. Knapik).
