Session has been divided into two parts : the first one was a seminar during which 15 lectures were presented, and the second one was a closed session of the IGBP Working Group 2. Certain aspects of the geosphere-biosphere relations were analysed, certain climatic, hydrological, geomorphological and ecological phenomena have been presented in a scale appropriate for the case of global change.―(A.
