A GIS system, developed as an aid to site selection for business enterprises, was developed using data related to the urban factors that might influence the success of a firm. Factors such as price, land use, infrastructure, public tranbsport, retail network, educational institutes, and crime were used and a business suitability map was produced. - (JS)
