In this paper karr landforms typical for dolomite surfaces were investigated by the authors using methods of field observation, mapping and morphological analysis. Through the mapping of these landforms and of the subsurface bedrock, data were obtained about mechanisms of formation and factors influencing the process. Observations were made on the circumstances of the occurence of conspicuous karr forms, and recommendations were put forward related to landform protection and nature conservation. - (ZK)
